Tiergarten

Tiergarten

The former royal zoological garden is without doubt Berlin's most beautiful park. It was designed in the 19th century by the famous landscape architect, Peter Joseph Lenné, with avenues, sculptures and a complex web of pathways.

The extensive Tiergarten with its romantic lakes, magical pathways and blooming meadows sweeps through the busy City West and government areas. The Tiergarten, close to the Beisheim Center, also contains Schloss Bellevue, the seat of the Federal President, with its magnificent halls and chambers and its carefully tended garden.

Even though, since time immemorial, being close to both nature and the city centre has been considered a very special privilege, this exclusive location is only one of the many qualities which the Beisheim Center has to offer.
